Kevin's Obituary

Kevin P. Clark, 44, of St. Joseph, passed away after a lengthy battle with Muscular Dystrophy, at his home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI with Pastor Brian of Overflow Church officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM an hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He was raised by Kenneth Wayne and Nancy Lee (Craine) Clark. Kevin graduated from Lake Fenton High School in 1984. He had a brother, Ryan with whom he shared many memories with. Although he was born with Muscular Dystrophy, Kevin lived life to the fullest. Kevin was known as a generous person, always helping those in need. He attended Overflow Church in Benton Harbor. He loved the outdoors particularly fishing and hunting. Most of all, his family was very important to him. Kevin is survived by his brother, Ryan (Coreen) Clark of St. Joseph; a nephew, Tyler and a niece, Bailey, both of St. Joseph; grandmother’s Eva Lewis of Davison; Nellre Craine of Flint, many aunts, uncles and cousins; good friends, Mark (Mary) Thomas of St. Joseph and many friends in the area. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth on April 23, 2006 and Nancy on June 26, 2003.
