Virginia's Obituary
Virginia L. Grentz, 86, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at County Manor in Bridgman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, February 9, 2009 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Wade Panse officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church. Virginia was born on December 28, 1922, in Anderson, Indiana to Charles and Freda (Litke) Diamond. She married Earl Grentz on November 12, 1960 in St. Joseph. Virginia was a member of the St. Joseph First United Methodist Church and the Monday Musical Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Dan) Meister of St. Joseph; two grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and four sisters.
