Faye L. Cerecke

Faye L. Cerecke, 81, of Punta Gorda, Fla., formally of St. Joseph, passed away Oct. 31, 2008. A celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 11:30 on Saturday. Memorials donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, 1144 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, Fla. 33952. She will be remembered as a great friend and caring woman who enjoyed blessing others with her gift of hospitality. Faye assisted her husband for many years in there business, Certified Metal Finishing of Benton Harbor. She is survived by two daughters Judith (George) Godush of Stevensville, Cynthia (Michael) Burgess of Marysville, MI; a son Richard (Lacinda) Cerecke of St. Joseph; a sister Thelma Coaker of Leakesville, Miss.; 6 grandchildren Jason (Marie) Godush, Jami (William) Richardson, Sarah (Derek) Bober, Brandon (Mari) Cerecke, Jeanna Burgess and Alexandria Burgess; 4 great grandchildren Hannah and Will Richardson, Kaydence Bober and Delaney Cerecke. Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Charles A. Cerecke.
