Elaine A. Giudice

Elaine A. Giudice, 70, of Stevensville, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009, at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday February 20, 2009 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd. in St. Joseph with Pastor Marlo Fritzke officiating. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, February 19, 2009, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Mrs. Giudice was born May 27, 1938 in Chicago to James & Anna (Lee) Drakopulos. She graduated from Baroda High School in 1955. On May 30, 1964 she marred Leo J. Giudice in St. Joseph. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1992. She worked for the United Federal Credit Union for 13 years before retiring in 2007. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Giudice is survived by her children Thomas Giudice of Stevensville and Karen Giudice of Charlevoix, MI; one granddaughter Alicia Giudice; many nieces and nephews and dear friend Dorothy Jackson. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Dave Frechette, James Drakopulos Jr. and George Drakopulos and loving companion Frank Krasensky.
