William L. Graham

William L. Graham, 61, of Benton Harbor, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 1, 2009, at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. A Celebration of life service will be held 11:30 A.M. on Monday, January 5, 2009 at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with pastor Krehl Stringer officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice at Home. On March 3, 1968 he married Lynda Gratz in Benton Harbor. William worked for Benton Harbor Malleable for 8 years and for Cast-Matic-Intermet for 30 years. In his spare time he enjoyed his flowers, Building Lego models, and could fix just about anything. Mr. Graham is survived by his wife of 40 years Lynda of Benton Harbor; one daughter Becky Graham of Berrien Springs; one son Dennis (Tammy) Graham of Benton Harbor; two grandchildren Robert and Derek Graham; one sister Laura (Steve) Marquardt of Lansing, MI; two nephews Brian and Scott Marquardt; and special friends Vince and Del Fardello of White House, TN. Preceding him in death were his parents.
