David Siewert

David B. Siewert, 48, of Stevensville, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd; St. Joseph, MI with Pastor Arnold Swanson as celebrant. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will take place at Hickory Bluff at later date. David was born on September 16, 1960 to Bernhard and Anneliese (Krienen) Siewert in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1978. David was employed with UPS for 25 years. He married his wife, Kimm Lucker on August 19, 1989 in Stevensville, MI. Together, they raised a son, Lukas and daughter, Lilly. David enjoyed rooting for his Chicago Sports Teams and University of Southern California Trojans. He also loved the beach and playing golf. He will be missed by all those who knew him. David is survived by his wife, Kimm; Children, Lukas and Lilli; his parents, Bernhard and Anneliese of Stevensville, MI; his Sister, Marion (Carl) Vance of South Bend, IN; brother-in-law, Paul (Amy) Lucker of LaGuna Hills, CA; Aunt Reni and Uncle Voja of Oak Forest, IL and many nieces and nephews.
