Olga's Obituary
Olga (Kuehl-Friske) Veine, 96, of Coloma, passed away Thursday, November 6th, 2008 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday at St. Matthew’s Church, 671 McAllister Ave., Benton Harbor. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Homes 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Olga was born on January 29, 1912 in Coloma, Michigan. She was a long time member of St. Matthew’s Church and was Past President and National Commander of D.A.V. Auxillary, Stevensville Chapter #126.
Olga is survived by nine nieces and nephews; the family of Leonard Veine; several great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law Marie Kuehl-Templin. She was preceded in death by her father August Kuehl; mother Louise (Neimtz) Kuehl; one sister Mabel Damake; and two brothers Wilbur Kuehl and August Kuehl; Olga was also preceded in death by her first husband Adolph Friske and her second husband Leonard Veine.
She will be missed by all of her family and friends who love her, and she loved them.
