Grace Elizabeth Kerlikowske

Grace Elizabeth Kerlikowske, 97, of St. Joseph, passed away on August 27, 2008 at The Willows. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008, at 10:00A.M. at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Grace was born on February 16, 1911 in St. Joseph, Michigan and grew up in the Coloma area. She was a graduate of Western Michigan University and taught school over 30 years. During her retirement she enjoyed traveling, reading, playing bridge, and most of all being with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin E. Kerlikowske; her parents Emma & Robert Dunse; her sister Gladys Taube; and her brother Robert Dunse. She is survived by her son Edwin and wife Mary Kerlikowske of Berrien Springs; daughter Jean Ann and her husband Marvin Waldenmaier of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren Carrie Waldenmaier & John Waldenmaier of Chattanooga, TN; Edwin Jr. and Tina Kerlikowske of Niles, MI; Marc and Karen Kerlikowske & Brian & Kathy Kerlikowske of Berrien Springs, MI; and great-grandchildren Megan, Mitchell, Emily, Owen, Michaela, Alyssa & Zachary Kerlikowske; and her dear friend Bonnie Kublick.
