Dorothy Wiley, 79, of St. Joseph Passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008, at The Willows in St. Joseph.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M on Thursday October 16, 2008 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3590 Lincoln Ave. in St. Joseph, with Rev. Paul Koehneke officiating. Mrs. Wiley was born October 26, 1928 in Chicago to Herman & Charlotte (Pacer) Ruske. On February 22, 1947 she married Robert Wiley Jr. in Chicago. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2007. Dorothy was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and a volunteer for the Cub Scouts. In her spare time she enjoyed her flower garden, traveling and especially her grand and great-grandchildren
Dorothy is survived by her children Dallas (Diana) Wiley of Albeuquerque, N.M., Lynda (Paul) Lee of Buchanan, Richard (Sandra Jean) Wiley of Berrien Springs, Susan (Rick) Layer of Hartford and Sandy (Garry) Sempert of Eau Claire; one brother Richard (Shirley) Ruske of Illinois; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded by her parents and one sister.
