Sandra L. Bryant

Sandra L. Bryant, 70, of Benton Harbor, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Bronson Select Specialty Hospital, Kalamazoo. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2008 at Grace Lutheran Church, 404 E. Glenlord Rd; St. Joseph, MI with Pastor Glenn Rosenbaum officiating. A luncheon will follow afterwards. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd; St. Joseph. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church. Sandra was born on February 19, 1938 in St. Joseph to Frank and Eleanor (Walter) Katowich. Sandra worked at Avion Coach in Benton Harbor for many years. Sandra married Roy Lee Bryant on January 7, 1983 in St. Joseph, MI. There are three daughters, Kim, Tonda and Leasha and a son, Roy Jr. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in St. Joseph for many years. Sandy loved to go camping as well as traveling to Las Vegas once a year. She looked forward to Christmas dinners and spending time with her family and friends. Sandra Bryant is survived by her husband, Roy Bryant Sr; daughters Kim (Michael) Partridge; Tonda (Dennis) Morgan both of Eau Claire, Leasha Scherer of St. Joseph; Sister, Barb (Dennis) Grams of St. Joseph; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Roy Jr; and her brother Ronald Katowich.
