Patricia Campbell

Patricia Mensinger Campbell, 88, of St. Joseph, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 5, 2008 at Royalton Manor, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM on, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd; St. Joseph with Pastor Glenn Rosenbaum officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place after the service at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Those wishing to send memorials may make them out to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church or Humane Society of S.W. Michigan. Patricia was born on July 23, 1920 to Adolph and Hattie (nee Siemon) Mensinger in Benton Harbor, MI. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School class of 1938 with Honors. Patricia was employed by Shoe Corporation of America for 29 years retiring as manager of the Benton Harbor store. Patricia was an active member of the OWLS at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Joseph. In her younger days, she enjoyed camping, fishing, and rock hunting. She loved dancing, big band music and reading. Patricia loved trees and animals especially dogs. Patricia is survived by her close friend and neighbor, Kristi (Ken) Clark of St. Joseph; Charles (Kathy) Campbell of Benton Harbor. She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Mills in 1996.
