June Mary Elizabeth Borchert

June Mary Elizabeth Borchert, 87, of Stevensville, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Wade Panse officiating. Entombment will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Berrien County Cancer Service. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in the Class of 1939. June was employed as the sales & service coordinator for Auto Specialties, retiring in 1983 after 33 years. June was past-president of the Hickory Trace Condo Association, serving for five years. She was previously active in several civic functions & organizations in the community. In her spare time, June enjoyed golfing, pontoon boating, and most of all traveling the US & abroad. June is survived by her life-long companion Claire Ertman of Stevensville; nieces & nephews-John & Cheryl Borchert of North Muskegon, Harry & Vickie Borchert of St. Joseph, Ann & John Rabideau of Lake Havasu, AZ, Mary Borchert & Gary Reick of Los Angeles, CA, seven great nieces & nephews, many great-great nieces & nephews, and numerous neighbors & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Harry Borchert in 1992.
