Robert's Obituary

Robert “Bob” Cluster, 62, of Benton Harbor, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, St. Joseph. In accordance with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services. Mr. Cluster was born September 3, 1945 in Benton Harbor to Robert M. & Geraldine L. (Davis) Cluster. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1963. In 1966, Bob joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Upon completion of his military duty, Bob moved to California. He was an expert cabinet maker and furniture refinisher. There was nothing that he couldn’t make or refinish once he set his mind to it. On July 15, 1983, he married the former Marion Patricia Rose in S. Lake Tahoe, California. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed music, playing the drums, fishing, writing, painting, and woodworking. Bob is survived by his wife Marion “Patti” Rose-Cluster; his daughter Courtney Walton of Berkeley, CA; his grandson Kalen Robert Walton; his sister Arlene (Douglas) Conran of Fairplain; two nephews-Randy Loggains & Brian (Jackie) Loggains; and a host of other nephews, nieces & cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert M. Cluster in 1999 and his mother Geraldine Cluster in 2006.
