Margaret's Obituary
Margaret L. Hollerbach, 62, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008, at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, in St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Crystal Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Margaret was born September 29, 1945, in Muskegon, MI to Clifford and Ethel Haire. She was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School. Margaret had four children, Michael John, William Paul, Steven Christopher, and Leslie Ann. Marge was affectionately known to be a “mother to everyone” and as a great friend, wonderful mother, and “fun-loving grandmother.” She was also known to be a great cook who made sure that everyone was well fed. Marge particularly enjoyed celebrating birthdays and holidays. Christmas celebrations and festivities were an important highlight each year for her. Additionally Marge enjoyed spending time with her girlfriends. She loved gardening, scrapbooking, and shopping. Marge vacationed yearly to Florida where she enjoyed eating sea-food and spending time in the Keys and at the beach.
Margaret is survived by her children, Mike of Buchanan, Bill (Janan) of Stevensville, Steve (Tonya) Hollerbach of Dowagiac, and Leslie (Joel) Arbanas of Baroda; her grandchildren, Cassidy, Logan, Jacob, Trever, Christopher, & Austin Hollerbach and Chloe and Josie Arbanas; and by her siblings, William (Chris) Haire from Tennessee, Roberta (Jimmy) Cook of Evansville, IN, Julie (Jim) Haire of Booneville, IN, and Roy, Cliff, Jim, and Carolyn Haire.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her sister, Marion Bates.
