Paul's Obituary
Paul Thomas Yech, 31, of Stevensville, passed away at his home on Friday, March 7, 2008.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph, with Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Osborn as celebrant. A prayer service will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road; St. Joseph, where a visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be held in Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting a donation to an educational fund in the name of Austin Eaves at United Federal Credit Union. At the time of his birth on December 15, 1976, his family was living in Union Pier, Michigan. He graduated from Bridgman High School in 1995.
Paul worked in food service from the age of 16. His hobbies were cooking for his family and friends and playing cards on-line. He enjoyed spending time with his wonderful son, Austin Eaves, who survives. Mosh-pitting with his fraternal twin, Joe, at concerts was a favorite activity.
He is survived by his mother Patricia (Willis) Worick, his father James (Joyce) Yech, his brother Joseph (Allison) Yech, brother James (Loretta) Yech, sister Amy (Marc) Crisenbery, His grandmother Eugenia Pauling, half-sister Kerri (Blake) Freehling and Karen (Jon) Kaminski, half-brother Shawn (Cory) Yech, stepsiblings Christopher (Monika) Worick, John (Edy) Worick, and Jennifer Worick, his stepmother Karen Yech and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ed and Betty Mashak and his paternal grandfather, Rudolph Yech.
