Robert G. Steltman

Robert G. Steltman, 72, of St. Joseph passed away on Sunday January 20, 2008 at Lakeland Continuing Care Center in Berrien Center. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday January 25, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church St. in St. Joseph with Msgr. Osborn officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with Rosary at 6:30 Thursday January 24, 2008 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Mr. Steltman was born April 2, 1935 in St. Joseph, Michigan to George Steltman & Anna (Kasun) Mielke. He Graduated from Lake Michigan Catholic High School in 1953 and attended two years at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Bob worked for Zenith as an Expediter for many years. Bob was an avid Notre Dame fan, he also enjoyed golfing and helping coach Lake Michigan Catholic Football. Mr. Steltman is survived by his sister Patricia Morison of Elkhart IN; Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
