Larry L. Berry

Larry L. Berry, Sr., 66, of St. Joseph, passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, February 18, 2008 Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Pastor Wade Blankenship will officiate. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 – 5 P.M. Memorial donations may be made out to the family. He worked as a dog catcher for Berrien County Animal Control for 10 years. He raised four sons, Carl, Terry, David, Larry Jr. with Violet Berry. Larry was a simple man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, and attending auctions and garage sales in his spare time. Larry is survived by his four sons, Carl Sebastion, Terry (Kim) Sebastion, David (Brenda) Berry, and Larry Berry Jr; his sister Betty Watson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Violet, brother Alfred Tio and sister, Dorothy Kelsey.
