Eleanor M. Jager

Eleanor Jager, 87 of St. Joseph Died Friday January 18, 2008 at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd with burial at Coloma Cemetery. Eleanor was born on July 13, 1920 in Benton Harbor to William & Emily (Hemerling) Reschke. She attended Benton Harbor High School and during WWII she worked for Ford Motor Company making Airplanes over in Detroit. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, but dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Jager of Benton Harbor; a granddaughter Stacey (Tod) Stephens of St. Joseph; two grandchildren Maddie & Sam; a sister Bette Gephart of Benton Harbor, sister in Law Erna Walz of Sandy UT.; brother -in-law Bob Maass St. Ignace, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by her husband John on March 23, 1999, a brother Paul; three Sisters Olga, Winnie and Helen
