Linda Kay Kehl

Linda (Ketelhut) Kehl, 54, of Benton Township, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth in Grand Rapids. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00P.M. Thursday January 24, 2008 at Starks Menchinger Family Funeral Home with pastor Nauman officiating. Friends may call from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. Wednesday January 23, 2008, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, Special Olympics, or American Diabetes Association. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Linda was born January 19, 1954 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Charles & Betty (Morrison) Ketelhut. She graduated from Coloma High School in 1972. Linda worked with the mentally handicapped for over 30 years and was a caregiver to her parents. She had a fascination for lighthouses and found peace and tranquility in the shores of Lake Michigan and the Oregon coast. She also enjoyed crafts, nature, cooking, laughing and spending time with her family. But most of all she loved God and had a strong faith. Linda is survived by her parents Charles & Betty (Morrison) Ketelhut; two daughters Rebecca Kehl of Oregon and Jennifer Kehl of Oregon; a sister Kathy Ketelhut of St. Joseph; and three special friends Lori Hueni, Denise James and Kellie Kraft.
