Linda Carolyn Moore

Eau Claire – Linda Carolyn Moore, 64, of Eau Claire, passed away Saturday morning, January 5, 2008, in her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI, with Fr. Bill Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Shanghai Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation with the family will begin one hour prior to the service at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to either Lakeland Hospice or to the Berrien County Cancer Service. On October 4, 1969, she married Dewayne Moore. Linda retired recently at JC Penny in Benton Harbor. Linda loved working outdoors with flowers which she used to beautify her home. Additionally she was fond of her puppies and was particularly close to her dogs – Sweet Maggie Mae and Scooby. Above all, Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving Linda is her children, Brenda Doyle, James Sample, Teresa (Paul) Allerton, and Dewayne Moore; her ten grandchildren, Crystal Doyle, Ryan Finch, Karina Sample, Kelsey, Ryan, Jacob, Matthew and Kailey Allerton, and Gabrielle and Grace Moore; brother, Arthur Smith; and by her uncle, Williard Kemp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewayne Moore in 1992; her aunts, Mae Hopkins and Wilma Wilkins; and by an uncle, Junior Rutherford.
