Linda Colleen Alti-Ameling

Mrs. Ronald (Linda Colleen) Alti-Ameling, 56, of 8816 Balmoral Street in Portage, MI, formerly of St. Joseph, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, January 19, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 23, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 Delaware, in Benton Harbor, with Fr. Bill Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with a Rosary Service at 7:30. Linda was born October 18, 1951, in St. Joseph, MI. She was one of three children born to Anthony & Dorothy Alti. Linda worked for many years as a Health Care Receptionist for Lakeland Hospital and thoroughly enjoyed her work there. Linda loved spending time with her family and particularly with her grandchildren. Linda is survived by her husband Ronald of Portage; her son, Tom Mathews also of Portage; her daughter, Ann Hoeppner of Woodburn, IN; by three grandchildren, Jason, Alyssa, & Karissa Hoeppner; two brothers, Timothy Alti of Stevensville and Anthony Alti of Orlando, FL; and by a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
