Flora L. Rosa

Mrs. Flora Louise Rosa, age 94, of Bridgman and formally of Canadaigua, New York, died on Saturday, January 12, 2008. She married Louis G. Rosa in 1935. Flora was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Bridgman, MI. Survivors include sister, Jean Brevett Marafioti of East Rochester, NY, daughter Sylvia (Brian) Shutts of St. Joseph, son Eugene Rosa, Ph.D of Idaho, granddaughters Laurie (Harry) Owens, Krista (John) Thornton, Melinda (Kevin) Webb and 10 great grand children. Flora was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, two sisters and one brother. A vigil and rosary prayer service will be held on Thursday, January 17 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3903 Lake St; Bridgman, MI with Mass to follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at White Haven Cemetery in Pittsford, New York at a later date.
