Mickey Campbell

Mickey Campbell, 83, of St. Joseph died at her home on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 She was born on January 16, 1925 in Benton Harbor Michigan to Ted & Emily (Adams) Williams but was raised by her mother Emily and Step Father Cal Seel. She married William Campbell on November 5, 1944 in St. Joseph, a union which lasted for 63 years. They had two children, Ann Campbell-Hays, and John who died in 1984. Ann and her husband Robert live in Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by three grandchildren Sarah, Alex and Will Hays. Mickey was enthusiastically involved in many activities. During her life she enjoyed playing tennis, dancing, bridge, bowling, skiing, cooking, knitting, sewing, gardening, tutoring, and neighborhood events. We all will miss her zest for life and her laughter. A Celebration of her life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2007 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home 2650 Niles Road St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be sent to Hospice at Home, or Readiness Center in Benton Harbor.
