Patricia Aspasia Shirey

Patricia Aspasia (Gagalis) Shirey, 83, of Bremen, Indiana went home to be with her Savior Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Memorial Hospital, So. Bend, Indiana. There will be a visitation from 2:30 to 4:15 pm, followed by a home going service at 4:30 pm, on Friday, December 14th at Napier Parkview Baptist Church, 245 W. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor, MI . Private family burial services will be held on Saturday at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. She retired in the late 80’s from food service in the ISR Building at the University of Michigan. Soon after, she moved to the Benton Harbor- St. Joseph area to be closer to two of her daughters and grandchildren. Pat was a volunteer at Lakeland Medical Center for many years. Pat is survived by her three sisters, Lucia Gagalis and Elizabeth Wirth of Ann Arbor, MI and Millie Whittemore of Falls Church, VA; brother, Peri Gagalis of Ann Arbor, MI; daughters: Luanne Fienberg of Burke, VA, Eileen Wesner of Bremen, IN and Georgia Stevens of Brownsburg, IN; Son, Michael Abbott of Ann Arbor. MI, and twelve grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, George and Andromache Gagalis, and two brothers Jim and Chris Gagalis.
