Norma's Obituary

Norma Jean Sirk, age 74, of Coloma, passed away Sunday morning, October 21, 2007 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 404 E. Glenlord, in St. Joseph, with Pastor Glenn Rosenbaum officiating. Burial will be private at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Norma was born on February 25, 1933, in Culver, Indiana to Loren and Katherine Warner. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Norma had worked at Lake Shore Rollerword in Stevensville for 7 years. She was married to Ronald Sirk on June 7, 1952. Norma was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Sirk, by her mother, Katherine Warner; and by her father, Loren Warner. Norma is survived by her husband Ronald Sirk of 55 years, sister; Darlene Merritt; brother, Loren Warner; grandchildren, Stacy (Ron) Allen, Sherry (Aaron) Shannon, and Glen (Sherri) Allen; great-grandchildren, Dalton and Landen Shannon; her daughter, Phyllis (Tom) Hudon; and by many loving family. Norma was “loved by many and was a Grandma to all.”
