Henry P. Adent, 81, of Bradenton, FL, died Sept. 30, 2007. He was born March 25, 1926 in Chicago, IL.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 at Starks and Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd, St. Joseph with Father Bill Jacobs of Sts. John & Bernard Catholic Church officiating. Light refreshments will be served afterwards at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Bradenton, FL, TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care or the American Heart Association.
Henry moved to Bradenton, FL in 1985 from St. Joseph, MI. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an avid woodworker, building his own boat, and an avid Harley Davidson rider. Henry was a retired tool and die engineer.
Henry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Stella of Bradenton, FL; his son, Ted (Leslie) of Sarasota, FL; his daughter, Carol Ann (Earl Jr.) Klukas of St. Joseph, MI; his brothers, Anthony Jr. of Detroit, MI; Donald of Cummings, GA; his sister, Adele Williams of The Villages, FL; his grandchildren, Heather (Jon) Hoezee, Darcy Haynes, Travis and Melissa, and great grandchildren, Tayler and Sarah Adent. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Florian.
