Betty J. Spinelli, 83, of Baroda died Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Lakeland Continuing Care- St. Joseph
A Celebration Of life Service will be held at 11:30 Thursday at the funeral Home with Msgr Michael A. Osborn officiating; burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. Friends may call from 6:00- 8:00 PM, Wednesday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan. Betty was born on May 10, 1924 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Maurice & Gladys Wiley. On May 20, 1950 she married Joseph Spinelli in Chicago, IL.
During her life she enjoyed music, singing, being involved with theater, and making costumes. During WWII she traveled and sang with the USO. Betty and Joseph enjoyed going up to JJ Ranch to ride horses and they still have a lot of friends from there.
She is survived by her husband Joseph of Baroda, a daughter Sabrina (Richard) LaSota of St. Joseph and a granddaughter Lindsey of St. Joseph.
