Diana Lynn Jankowski

Diana L. Jankowski, 61, of Berrien Springs, formerly of Three Oaks, passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph as the result of an automobile accident in Union Pier. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Philip Quardokus officiating. Visitation for family & friends will be from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lakeland Outpatient Dialysis Unit. Mrs. Jankowski was born December 19, 1945 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Robert & Helen (Horan) Prentiss. On July 7, 1991, she married Mark Jankowski in St. Joseph. Diana was employed at DeMarcke Dry Cleaners in New Buffalo for 10 years. She was a NASCAR & Jeff Gordon fan, and an Indianapolis Colts & Peyton Manning fan. Diana loved animals of all kinds. Most important to her was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Jankowski is survived by her husband Mark; her daughters-Angela (James) Meltinos of Edwardsburg, MI, Deborah (Cono) Natale of Maspeth, NY, Ericka (Mark) Mueller of Baroda; three grandchildren-Demetria Meltinos, Ashley & Brandon Mueller; her step children-Mandy, Wayne, & Timothy Jankowski, all of Houstonville, KY; and a brother Robert (Janet) Prentiss of Valparaiso, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Damon Prentiss in 2000.
