She was one of five children born to Israel and Jenny Levinson. She married Reuben Feldman and had two children, Larry and Rossie. Before moving to Michigan, she volunteered at a senior center in Baltimore “driving old people to their doctor’s appointments.” She enjoyed taking classes and listening to music. Most of all Gertrude was devoted to and cherished by her family and many close friends. Gertrude was the loving mother of Larry (Sandy) Feldman of Lakeside, MI and Rossie (Peter) Feldman-Persoff of Massachusetts; devoted grandmother to Liam Feldman, Jonah Feldman, Amanda Feldman-Persoff, Jeremy (Jessica) Powell, Ben Powell, Samantha Persoff, Andrew Persoff, Alexis (Jack) Canfora and 2 great-grandchildren; beloved sister of Bess Rosenberg of Baltimore; sister-in-law of Norma Feldman; loving aunt to Sharyn (Barry) Stein, Arnold (Sharon) Rosenberg, Marilyn (Henry) Sherr, Janice (Don) Harris, Paul (Debbie) Levinson, Jerry (Linda) Glick, Marshall (Leslie) Feldman, Leslie Bishop, Michael (Lynda) Glick, Harvey (Beverly) Feldman, Mark (Norma) Glessner, Terry (Sig) Schildkraut, Stephen (Janet) Feldman, Susan (Barry) Kanow and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was a kind and loyal friend to many, and a grateful recipient of loving care from her dear companion and helper, Jennifer Corley. Her life has been a blessing to all of us. In addition to her parents, Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben in 1983; and by her siblings, Ann, Mike, and Harry.
