Steve A. Cunningham, 54, of Bridgman died Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Lakeland Hospital- Niles, from complications of diabetes. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, September 15, at First Baptist Church, 902 Broad St., St. Joseph, with Rev. Marlo O. Fritzke officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 6:00-8:00PM Friday, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1971. Steve was the Owner/President of Cunningham Insurance of St. Joseph. He was a member of The St. Joseph Benton Harbor Rotary Club and enjoyed golfing, bird hunting and was an old car enthusiast. Steve is survived by a daughter Kisha Sharpe of Statesville, N.C.; two grandchildren Jalen & Deja; two sisters, Julie Knight of St. Joseph, Clare (Dave) Johnson of Chaska, MN; a brother Michael Cunningham of St. Joseph; three nieces, Amber Knight, Abigail & Hannah Johnson; two nephews, Dave & Pete Johnson.
