Florence Winifred Musgrove

Florence Winifred Musgrove, 88, of St. Joseph, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at her home surrounded by her devoted and loving family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at First United Methodist Church, 3003 Leco Court, St. Joseph, with Pastor Wade Panse officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Berrien County Cancer Service or Hospice at Home. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Florence was born May 19, 1919 to Charles and Mattie (Warren) Ulrich in Marion Michigan. On September 5, 1946 she married her love, Clare M. Musgrove. Together they had two children and raised a loving family. She was a volunteer and teacher’s aid at Gard School and Blossomland Learning Center. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed needlework. Florence was an active member of the St. Joseph First United Methodist Church and had taught Sunday School, she was also a member of the UMW and the Esther Circle. Florence’s beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her. Florence is survived by her husband, Clare; their two children, Jeanne (William) Musgrove Armstrong of Plymouth, Minnesota and David Musgrove of Kehei, Hawaii; two grandchildren, Adam Herman and girlfriend, Grace Bell and Corbin Herman; sister-in-law, Louis Ulrich of Cadillac MI; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna(Ronald) Cooper. Florence is also survived by her loving Cooper family of nieces and nephews, Karla Moose, Terry and Pam, James and Maureen, Joel and Jacqueline and Suellen and John Jessen; and nieces, Pat Pierce and Peggy Pierce.
