Charles M. Shelton

Charles M. Shelton, 21, of Benton Harbor, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at his home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Covenant Christian Church, 1870 Union St., Benton Harbor, with Pastor Dan Head officiating. Friends may call at the church beginning at 5:00 P.M. Sunday. Charles was born June 3, 1986 in Independence, Missouri to Gary W. & Anita M. (Hickman) Shelton. He graduated from Independence Academy in 2004. Charles was a member of Fairmount Christian Church in Independence, and attended Covenant Christian Church since moving to Benton Harbor in April of this year. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, barbequing, landscaping lawns & gardens, doing mechanical work & detailing his car, spending time at the beach and with his friends & family. Charles is survived by his mother & step-father-Anita & Tim Bowman of Benton Harbor; his father Gary W. Shelton of Independence, Missouri; two sisters-L. Marie Shelton of Independence, MO, Cencia Pulido of Benton Harbor; his brother Emilio Pulido of Benton Harbor; his paternal grandmother-Marjorie Shelton of Independence, MO; two aunts, one uncle, and numerous cousins.
