Patricia A. Schauer

Patricia A. Schauer, 68, of Bridgman, passed away Friday, July 06, 2007 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may call from 2:00 until 5:00 P.M. Mrs. Schauer was born December 31, 1938 in Stevensville, Michigan to Harris & Lucille (Weaver) Harrison. On June 18, 1965, she married Duane Schauer in Stevensville. Pat was a stay-at-home mom who enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, knitting, tending to her house plants and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a member of the New Apostolic Church. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Patricia is survived by her husband Duane; four daughters-Nancy (Tom) Hawes of Lockport, IL, Judy (Richard) Emery of Hamilton, MI, Dawn Ketcham of Canon City, CO, Margrett Schauer of Bridgman; two sons-Jack (Cathy) King of Oceanside, CA, Mark (Carol) King of Baroda; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers-Raymond (Jackie) Harrison of Riverside, MI, David (Anna) Harrison of St. Joseph, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Kelly Schneider in 1996, and by her brother Roy Harrison in 2000.
