Michael R. Hill, 52, died suddenly on June 12, 2007 in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 8:00PM, Thursday, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd, St. Joseph; friends may call from 5:00PM – 8:00PM Thursday at the funeral home. He married his wife, Thais Tanis, on September 10, 1983, in Matteson, IL. He worked at Cook nuclear Plant in Bridgman, MI, as Quality Control Manager. He enjoyed fishing, camping, kayaking, listening to music and being outdoors. Michael is survived by his wife, Thais, of St. Joseph; two daughters, Kristine and Alyssa Hill; a son, Alex Hill, his parents Bonnie Hill of Centralia IL and Raymond Hill in Centralia IL; Three sisters, Nancy (Jim) Schwab of St. Louis MO, Pam Hill of Madison WI, Pat (Mike) McGinn of Carbondale, IL; and two brothers, Steven (Jana) Hill of Cary, NC, and Mark (Michelle) Hill of Centralia, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
