Mary L. Barahona

Mary Lyndia Barahona, 44, of Benton Harbor, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. A Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 6, 2007, the New Plant Seventh-day Adventist Church, 292 Bellview St., in Benton Harbor, with Pastor Frank Yapp officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Decatur, MI. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:00 noon at the church. Memorials may be made to the family. Mary was born in Jacksonville, FL on February 8, 1963. She was one of 11 children born to John Wilburn and Nancy Heppler. She will be remembered as being a happy person who “was always smiling.” Mary was always willing to help anyone in need. Above all, she was devoted and loved by her family whom she always put first. Mary is survived by her children, Elizabeth, Justin, and Timothy Barahona all of Benton Harbor; her mother, Nancy Heppler; her father, John Wilburn; and by her 6 sisters and 4 brothers.
