Molly's Obituary
ST. JOSEPH – Molly Lausman, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2007, at home.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Blossomland Learning Center or St. Peter’s Church in St. Joseph.
Molly was born on January 16, 1918, in Chicago, to Henry and Dora (Altergott) Kempf. She was a homemaker who proudly cared for her family. After her children were older, Molly worked for both Leco Corp. and Heath Company for many years. Her favorite hobby was cooking and making homemade noodles. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church in St. Joseph.
She is survived by her children, Sharron (Stan) Case of Chattanooga, TN, Dianne (Dino) Mastri of Benton Harbor, and Harry (Kathy) Lausman of Stevensville; a sister, Emilie Bermingham of St. Joseph; seven grandchildren, Matteo, Dino, and Dante Mastri, Lisa and Michael Case, Carri (Patrick) Conlon, and Steven (Kristen) Lausman; and a good friend of many years, Maria Lippert of Stevensville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lausman; a granddaughter, Dina Mastri; and many brothers and sisters.
