Kim Arndt

Kim Arndt, 44, of Eau Claire, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the First Church of God, 2627 Niles Ave., St. Joseph with Pastor Kevin Parkins of the Friends of Faith Community Church officiating. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Friday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Kim was born November 9, 1962 in St. Joseph to Carl & Joann (Brunke) Arent. She graduated from Coloma High School in 1981 and from Davenport college, Kalamazoo in 1983. She was currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree from Sienna Heights College. Kim was employed by Whirlpool Corporation for fourteen years and currently held the position as an Export Supply Chain Specialist. Kim cherished the time that she spent with her family, whatever the occasion might be, for a holiday, birthday, reunion, or a cookout on the beach. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Kim is survived by her son Lucas Arndt, and her daughter Shannon Arndt, both of Eau Claire; her mother Joann Arent Langeland of St. Joseph; her brother Brian (Traci) Arent of Ada, MI; her nephews and niece-Parker, Noah, & Brianna Arent of Ada, MI; and many aunts, uncles, & cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Arent in 1999 and her step-father Warren Langeland in 2004.
