Vivian's Obituary
ST. JOSEPH – Vivian Lorene Eastman, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2007, at home.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home in St. Joseph with Rev. Wade Panse officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Pontiac, Mich., at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church in St. Joseph, Hospice at Home, or Berrien County Cancer Service.
Vivian was born on October 21, 1917, to Worth and Lorena (Leaske) Eastman. She worked for many years in an optical lab in Pontiac before moving to St. Joseph. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her many nieces and nephews. She was a cat lover and also enjoyed bird-watching. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in St. Joseph.
She is survived by a brother, Gerald Eastman of Boulder, CO; two sisters, Eleanor Barnhart of St. Joseph and Shirley Golland of Portage, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Eastman.
