Joan Lyn Isbrecht-Heaton, 51, of Benton Harbor, passed away Friday, March 09, 2007 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Greg Prather officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Joan was born June 6, 1955 in Benton Harbor to LeRoy & Dorothy (Kramer) Isbrecht. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1972. Joan was formerly employed by All-Phase Electric in Benton Harbor. Joan is survived by her daughter Lisa Heaton of Benton Harbor; her mother and step-father-Dorothy & Donald Carlsen of St. Joseph; her sister Gloria (Randy) Hartley of St. Joseph; her sister-in-law-Mary Jo Isbrecht of Benton Harbor; her nephew Matthew Isbrecht and her niece Rachael Isbrecht. She was preceded in death by her father LeRoy in 1990, and her brother Gary Isbrecht in 1999.
