Dorothy Jane Mcallister

Dorothy Jane McAllister, 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman. A Memorial Mass will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Porte, IN. Burial of ashes will take place in Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, IN. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Porte, IN or Multiple Sclerosis Association. She worked as a bookkeeper at Newby, Lewis, Kaminski, and Jones Law Office in La Porte, IN. Dorothy was an active member in St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Porte, IN. She was a very sweet lady who was artistic and enjoyed painting. Dorothy is survived by her sister-in-law, Peggy McAllister of St. Joseph; three nephews, Patrick (Jennifer) McAllister of St. Joseph, Jack (Meg) McAllister of Grand Rapids, MI, and James (Connie) McAllister of South Haven, MI; one niece, Jean Mitchell of Mobile, AL; and many cousins especially her cousin John (Carol) Klassen of Baroda. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fredrick McAllister.
