Marsha K. Fischer

Marsha K. Fischer, 51, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on December 15, 2006, in Cleveland, OH, from complications with diabetes. A Visitation gathering with her family will be held on Wednesday evening, December 20, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Marsha was born February 23, 1955. She was one of four daughters born to Maurice & Mary Lou Wiltfang. On April 21, 1979 she married Patrick (Mike) Fischer. Marsha was an associate member of the FOP Lodge #100 in Benton Harbor, MI, and a member of the Casino Club Auxiliary in Grand Rapids. An avid sports fan, she loved basketball, football, and baseball. Marsha was an exceptional person, truly caring and freely giving of herself and going out of her way to help others whenever she could. She really loved to laugh and to cheer up the people she was with. Marsha dearly loved her dogs and returned that unconditional love that they provided to her. “Her caring attitude, friendly smile, and bubbly personality will be missed by the hundreds of people who knew her.” Marsha is survived by her husband, Patrick (Mike); mother, Mary Lou Wiltfang; her sisters, Judy (Jeff) Meline, Kathy (Joe) Schmitz, Jeannine (John) Schlueter, and by her brothers-in-law, Ray Fischer and Steve (Gwen) Fischer. She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice Wiltfang; and by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
