Clara's Obituary
Clara R. Kroschel, 81, of Coloma, passed away Monday, March 05, 2007, after a brief illness. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Fr. William Jacobs, Jr. officiating. Private family burial will take place at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Michigan Kidney Foundation. Mrs. Kroschel was born August 12, 1925 in Riverside, Michigan to August & Louise (Westphal) Noack. She graduated from Watervliet High School in 1943, and on May 31, 1946, married Walter G. Kroschel of Coloma. Clara was a devoted wife and a loving mother & grandmother. She especially loved the time spent with her grandchildren. Mrs. Kroschel is survived by two daughters-Sandra (Dennis) Hafer of Stevensville, Dawn (John) Kolenko of Coloma; her son Walter (Kathy) Kroschel of Coloma; five grandchildren-Sarah Kolenko, Ashley Kolenko, April Kroschel, Walter Kroschel, Jr., and Grant Kroschel; her sister Marguerite Knox of Covert; two brothers-Harold (Gladys) Noack & Victor (Jean) Noack, both of Coloma; and five sisters-in-law-Bernice Zilkowski, Rosemary Overheul, Darlene (Larry) Skinner, Marge (James) Beckman, & Dorothy (Paul) Farris, all of Florida. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Walter on March 4, 1992, her sister Dorothy Nutting, her brother Albert Noack, and a sister-in-law Irene Schwab.
