Kathleen's Obituary
STEVENSVILLE – Kathleen J. Tabor, 74, of Stevensville, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at home.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home in St. Joseph.
Kathleen was born on April 24, 1932, in Crump, Mich., to Amos and Sarah (Hart) Graverette. Prior to starting her family, she was a licensed beautician, but later proudly served her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing. She loved life and lived every minute to its fullest. She held memberships with the American Legion Auxiliary and the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her children, Gregory (Mary) Dean of Coloma, Brenda (Larry) McMillin of Kennet, MO, Brian (Debra) Tabor of Buchanan, and Jocelyn Perkins of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; a sister, Virginia Pigeon of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rebecca Dean; and three brothers, William Graverette, James Graverette, and Moses Graverette.
