Allen's Obituary
Allen G. Haughey, 79, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, October 20, 2006 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
Mr. Haughey was born August 12, 1927 in Milton, Wisconsin to Arthur G. & Kathryn (Hasemeier) Haughey. Allen served his country in the US Army. He was employed at F.P. Rosback for many years, retiring as VP of Personnel. It was there that he met his bride to be, Charlotte Lee Fleisher. They were married on May 26, 1955 in Berrien Springs, Michigan. She preceded him in death on July 13, 2005. In his spare time, Allen was active as a Ham Radio Operator, know to his fellow ham enthusiasts as “WA8WNX’.
Allen is survived by two sons-Greg (Cheryl) Haughey of Frisco, TX, Chris (Laureen) Haughey of Los Alamitos, CA; two grandchildren-Aidan Gregory Haughey & Alison Colleen Haughey both of Frisco, TX ; his mother Kathryn Haughey of Berrien Springs; and his sister Adell Claypool of Port Charlotte, FL. In addition to his wife Charlotte, Allen was preceded in death by his father Arthur G. Haughey.
