Emil's Obituary

Emil Eisbrenner, 81, of Eau Claire passed away Wednesday December 6, 2006 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center – St. Joseph. Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2006, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 404 E. Glenlord Rd, St. Joseph. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn Rosenbaum. Burial will follow at Shanghai Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Friends wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Emil was born on June 14, 1925 to Emil & Justine (Frank) Eisbrenner in Watervliet, Michigan. He served his country in the U.S. Army from May 13, 1944 to March 31 1964. On November 5, 1949 he married his wife Delores Kasun at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Benton Harbor, MI. He retired from Whirlpool in 1988 as a punch press operator. Emil was a life-time member of the D.A.V. He was a person who enjoyed working with his hands doing anything from tearing down engines to farming, gardening and hunting. He is survived by his wife Delores; a son Arnie (Tammy) Eisbrenner of Bangor; grandson Chad; four sisters Martha Litke of St. Joseph, Emma Belter of St. Joseph; Emily Griffin of Watervliet, Caroline Sempert of Lakeland FL; one brother Bill Eisbrenner of Dowagiac. Emil was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
