Alfred's Obituary
Alfred Rubleske, 90, of Benton Harbor, MI, went home to be with his Lord, Saturday, December 2, 2006.
Alfred was born August 22, 1916, in Benton Harbor, to Emil and Emily Rubleske. He was employed at New Products Corporation in Benton Harbor for 47 years as a tool and die maker, and later as chief inspector, before retiring in 1981. He had great mechanical aptitude and skills. He loved putting things together and fixing things that needed repair, often in highly inventive ways. Alfred also was blessed with a dry sense of humor that was very enduring to his neighbors and others who knew him well. He adored his wife Darline with whom he enjoyed 61 years of marriage before she passed away in 2003. He was a wonderful husband and father and great provider for all his families needs. Alfred was a member of Napier Parkview Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and had a very active prayer life, particularly treasuring prayer at bedtime. Alfred will be greatly miss3ed by all those fortunate enough to know and love him.
He is survived by his two sons, John Rubleske of Benton Harbor, and James (Judith) Rubleske of South Bend, IN; five grandchildren, Christine (Mark) Schlutt, Joseph (Janet) Rubleske, Joseph Aleo, Justin Aleo, and Liev Aleo; and a sister, Lillian Gehm of Grants Pass, OR. Preceding him in death are his parents-Emil and Emily, and his wife-Darline.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, December 6, 1:00 P.M., at Kerley & Starks-Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI, with Dr. J.O. Hosler officiating.
