Lynn Valentine Sheldon

Lynn V. Sheldon, 58, of Berrien Springs, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Lakeland Regional Hospital in St. Joseph from complications due to breast cancer treatment. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of SW Michigan. An open-house Remembrance Gathering will take place at the Comfort Inn Suites in Stevensville on Sunday September 10, from 2 until 5 P.M. for those wishing to join Lynn’s family in celebrating her unique spirit. Lynn was born February 14, 1948 in Pompton Plains, New Jersey to Irving & Elizabeth (McNeal) Paduch. On October 7, 1995, she married Spencer C. Sheldon in Long Valley, NJ. For the past year, Lynn had been employed by Garrison Partners Consulting in Union Pier as a property marketer. Lynn had a great love for animals. She was very involved with online animal rescue. Lynn was also involved with online Alzheimers Support Group, online Breast Cancer Support Group and online Autism Support Group. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Canasta. Lynn is survived by her husband Spencer; three daughters-Kellie Henry of London, England, Erin Henry of Berrien Springs, Meghan Henry of Goleta, CA; two grandchildren-Skylar, thirteen years, Mathilda, four months; her parents Irving & Elizabeth Paduch of Plantation, FL; two sisters-Lois Bichler of Orlando, FL, Jean Peelen of Alexandria, VA; several nieces & one nephew.
