Fredrick Boesel Battermann, 57, of St. Joseph, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2006, at Gilead Elder Care of St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Wednesday, September 6, 2006, at St. Joseph Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1201 Maiden Lane, St. Joseph with Rev. Arnie Swanson officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Berrien County Cancer Service. Arrangements are entrusted to Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph.
Fredrick was born to Robert and Marjorie Battermann on July 19, 1949, in Gary, IN. He served in the U.S. Army from 1979 to 1984. Fredrick loved horses and was a member of St. Joseph Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Fredrick is survived by his son, Steven Battermann of Hebron, IN; one grandson, Nate Battermann; one sister, Joyce Battermann of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and one brother, Charles Battermann.
Fredrick was preceded in death by his parents.
