Dana Thomas-William Cook

Dana Thomas-William Cook, 46, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2006, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at 1:00 P.M., at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Dana was born on July 13, 1960 to Derrick Thomas-William and Milodean Mae (Higgins) Cook in South Bend, IN. He attended Benton Harbor High School. Dana married the love of his life Lori Lucker on July 14, 1979. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Dana was a heating and air conditioning technician for Roehm Refrigeration. He had worked at Cooper-Carlson in Baroda, MI prior to relocating to Terre Haute in 1995. Dana is survived by his wife, Lori; parents, Derrick and Milodean of Benton Harbor; children, Jennifer Nicole Cook and Joshua Thomas-William Cook both of Terre Haute, IN; granddaughter, Larissa Nicole Cook; sister, Deena Sara (George) Eddy of St. Joseph; brother-in-law, Michael (Lynn) Lucker of Stevensville; sister-in-law, Sue (Rob) Mazigian of Berrien Springs; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis and Barbara Konopka of Eau Claire; aunt, Norma Hamper of Miami, FL; uncles, Robert Higgins of MI and Dennis Feely of England; grandmother-in-law, Helen Watts of Berrien Center; and nieces and nephews, Dirk, Danielle, Geordan, Bobby, Zach, Carly, Kris, Amber, Ashley, April, Kaitlyn, and Adam. Dana will be loved and missed by all of his family and friends.
