Patricia Bridget Anderson

Patricia Anderson, 66, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2006, at Caretel Inns of Royalton in St. Joseph. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 11:00 A.M., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Burial will take place at a later date in New Jersey. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 5100 So. Sprinkle Rd., Portage, MI 49002, Berrien County Cancer Service, 7301 Red Arrow Highway, Stevensville, MI 49127, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Patricia was born to Michael and Esther (Pellicia) Murray on August 7, 1940 in Newark, NJ. She married the love of her life, Ronnie Anderson in 1962 and together they had one daughter Kelly. She worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for the city of Edgewater in Florida for many years. After retirement she kept busy by bowling, volunteering at a local Senior Center and as a school crossing guard. She remained active in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Florida. Patricia loved beaches and enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Connor and Zach and Sunday dinners with her family. Patricia will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Paul) Freye of St. Joseph, MI; grandchildren, Connor and Zach Freye of St. Joseph, MI; brothers, Michael (Zara) Murray and Pat (MaryAnn) Murray of New Smyrna Beach, FL; brother-in-law, Jerry Brannigan of Kissimmee, FL; nieces, Donna Deuchler and Kristie(Chris) Balz; nephews, Keith “Butch” Deuchler and Matthew (Susan) Murray; and four great nieces. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronnie on November 24, 1966; and sister Francis Brannigan on October 8, 2006.
